Welcome to CL Aussies–Quality Australian Shepherds
Our litters are planned well in advance, and involve painstaking research to ensure that we are adhering to the priorities that we deem important in a strong, successful breeding program: Calm Sound Temperament, Physical Health & Type, and Beauty. All our puppies are registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC). All puppies are from parents who have been certified for Hip clearances through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) and are checked for hereditary defects by a Certified Ophthalmologist.
We are very proud of the lengths that we go to produce healthy, happy, outgoing puppies as we believe early socialization is key to a well rounded companion! Our puppies and their mother spend their first 3 weeks of life in the center of our home. From the beginning, they are exposed to a wide variety of everyday sights and sounds that they will encounter throughout their life.
Based on research about puppy developmental stages, we adhere to a strict protocol that we have developed for both mental and physical stimulation at critical age markers. After 3 weeks, they are outside in the sunshine where both mother and father share in their parental duties. The feedback we receive about the outgoing nature and "fearlessness" of our puppies in their new homes makes all our extra efforts worthwhile!
If after we talk, we mutually agree that a Camp Lisa Australian Shepherd puppy or dog is right for you, we will place you on our waiting list. The placement of our puppies in the right home is our number one priority. Please note that reservations are on a first come basis, so if you are serious about a Camp Lisa puppy please let us know as soon as possible!
Visitors are encouraged by appointment only.
We discourage drop by visits, as they tend to disturb our current guests.
